Decodable Rhyming Readers

Launch Children into Literacy!

Launch Literacy resources will equip Teachers, Literacy Specialists and Speech Pathologists to teach 4-6 year old children foundation reading skills through systematic phonological awareness, isolated rhyming word patterns, storytelling and lots of humour.

Created by leading Australian Speech Pathologist Alison Lee, these 66 decodable readers can be used as a standalone reading program or within Launch Literacy’s fully integrated early literacy program.

All the decodable readers are available as printed sets or as e-readers for use on desktops, smart phones or tablets.

Launch Literacy Rhyming Patterns

Each reader introduces and contains only one rhyming pattern. (e.g ‘ub’ ‘am’ ‘ish’) so that the child can easily imprint and strengthen these patterns before combining them in more complex reading material.

Perfectly sequenced program that addresses all the steps in early literacy. I have used it as a stand-alone program to bring groups up to Year One Literacy level. It has saved me countless hours in preparation time because it is perfect for classroom/individual and catchup/competent young learners.
